Davis was a wild man! Such exuberance is a challenge. Highly charismatic, his virtues include his glamorous style, curvaceous body, moderate length and angulation and very clean movement.
He comes from a wonderful litter, co bred with Michael and Linda Allen (Miklin). Three others are finished: Ch Chelsea First Kiss, JC, Ch Chelsea Miklin Destiny's Kiss and Ch Chelsea Kiss You All Over. Three more are pointed.

Davis was owned by Jean Pascal Botella since his puppyhood. Davis was a globetrotter traveling with Jean Pascal as he transferred with his job from Brazil to Zambia back to Brazil then finally South Africa. In-between Davis found the time to come back to his native land to complete his running titles and enjoy some romance. He quickly completed his ASFA Field Championship shortly after his arrival back into this country with another first place (his third!) in October 2002.
Davis had fulfilled his requirements for his AKC Field Championship in Shawnee, OK at the Indian Nation Basenji Coursing Club by taking the Open stake over 22 Whippets for a 5 point major which was his FOURTH major! Another of these majors, was a Best In Field under judge Ann Billups for 4 points.
Big thanks to Deborah and Maurice Bahm for the wonderful conditioning of Davis during his stay with them and putting the finishing touch (in a BIG way) on Davis's AKC field title.

Davis was highly successful in any country he was exhibited which his many championship titles reflect. In 2006 due to the untimely death of Jean Pascal there was no doubt in our minds that Davis was to come home. What a joyful reunion! He settled in like he had never been gone. To announce his arrival back home he resumed his successful show career in a selective manner.

His success as a sire is also quite impressive. He is the sire of four Specialty winners in this country which includes our Smooth who was WB/BOW at the 2001 AWC National Specialty. He is also the sire of one BIS winner. He left champion puppies in 4 countries. Sadly, the time with our sweet prince was cut short. He died of lymphoma cancer at 10.5 years old just 2.5 short years after his return to this country. He is sorely missed.
