A reluctant show dog herself, "Sissy" still managed to win a BISweeps under Cathy Gaidos, a specialty Best Puppy in Show and BOB from the classes along the way to her championship. She was pure gold as a brood bitch. Of course her most famous offspring is Drake, but she caressed the breed with every litter she bore. It is rewarding to know she lives on in the pedigrees of many prominent breeders from all over the world. She ruled the roost on the waterbed at Oxford from 1989 until her recent passing at age 13. Her presence will be sorely missed.
